Four Mile Historic Park is a portal to Denver’s Western heritage, with historically accurate replicas, a working farm with horses, goats, chickens, and pigs, and the site of Denver’s oldest standing structure, the Four Mile House Museum. Today, the Park offers a variety of education programs, tours of the historic Four Mile House, and signature events. Our mission? To educate a diverse community through experiences which promote preservation, interpretation and enjoyment of Denver’s Western heritage.

Experience an old-fashioned week at Denver’s oldest structure! Attendees will experience everything from sewing to baking to playing old-fashioned games! We will also learn about the plants, animals, and insects that populate our site and how they’ve played a part in Colorado’s history.

Each program runs for one week, Monday – Friday, from 8:30am-1pm with the majority of activities taking place outdoors on our 12-acre working farm. Way Back Weeks are designed for students from 1st – 5th grade. For more information, please email education@fourmilepark.org
