Nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, YMCA of the Rockies – Camp Chief Ouray is the premier overnight camp and adventurous playground for youth. CCO provides a unique experience with the opportunity for independent development in a breathtaking outdoor setting.

CCO offers programs that build confidence, independence and resilience all under the leadership of trained and experienced counselors. CCO offers one, two, three, and half-week programming and is dedicated to helping youth grow in spirit, mind, and body, in a safe environment and is committed to developing our five core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Faith.

CCO is licensed by Colorado Child Care and accredited by the American Camp Association, Praesidium, and from a program perspective we are an accredited youth program with Leave No Trace.

With over 5,000 acres of mountains, valleys, streams, and meadows to explore, boredom is simply not an option.

Age Groups:
7-14: Traditional Camp
13-17: Leadership and Adventure Trips Programs
7-12: Mini Camp
5-14: Day Camp
