Build a business. Rule the world. Be money smart.
Summer Camps at Young Americans Center for Financial Education include Young AmeriTowne, International Towne, and YouthBiz entrepreneurial programs for rising 3rd – 8th graders. Week-long day camps are just $260, making them both fun and affordable for families. Help your child gain money smarts that will last a lifetime through fun, engaging, hands-on activities. Financial assistance is available. Programming runs Monday-Thursday, 9:30 a.m – 3:30 p.m and Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Junior Money Matters – Explore fun things about money, banking and the world of work, while learning important basic financial skills. On the last day, participants get to work in a business and run their very own life-like town.
Just Start It – This camp gives students the tools and tricks they need to make a business happen now! Campers develop real businesses and real products that they’ll present on Friday for a chance to win awesome prizes.
Make it App’en – This camp will teach kids how to create, market, and sell their very own mobile app as a business venture. Campers will learn block coding through MIT App Inventor and will present and demo their app-based business on the last day of camp for a chance to win cash prizes. No prior coding experience required.
Girls Can – Campers learn about women leaders around the world, connect with local businesswomen, and participate in activities to help discover how to be financially fit. The week wraps up with campers testing their skills by running Young AmeriTowne!
