The Montessori Academy of Colorado is a Denver private school that engages each child through innovative academics, exploration of character, and a fearless, forward mindset serving students from 8 weeks to 8th grade.

Middle School
MAC’s Middle School is one of the first purpose-based schools in the United States and was recently featured in the October issue of NAIS Independent Schools Magazine. MAC’s Middle School fosters a rich inward and outward journey for students to develop a greater sense of self and their contribution to the outside world. Students are immersed in authentic and applicable learning environments. Each academic unit centers around practicing critical thinking, empathy, communication, and action in the real world.

Elementary School
MAC’s Elementary school is committed to fostering intellectual rigor, as well as character, within students. A student:teacher ratio of 9:1 ensures every student is deeply known and understood as a whole being and students receive individualized curriculum, creating an intrinsic love of learning. Our unique setting encourages independence through exploratory learning with field trips and travel.
